18 Oct Exhibition At Manor House Stables
I was delighted to hold an exhibition of my fine art equestrian photography at Manor House Stables in September.
Manor House Stables is one of the UK’s top flat racing yards under trainer, Tom Dascombe, and is located in Cheshire not too far from my studio. The raceyard is owned by Michael Owen (former international footballer) and Andrew Black (founder of Betfair). I was commissioned several years ago to produce equestrian artworks for the new Owners Lounge at the raceyard and so it seemed a fitting venue for my latest exhibition.
I was delighted to welcome members of the Country Land & Business Association together with key supporters of World Horse Welfare including the Chief Executive, Roly Owers, and also Quintessentially Equestrian members to this exclusive event.
We all enjoyed a tour of the raceyard on a beautiful sunny day, which included a visit to the Equine Pool and Spa to watch a horse swimming and also a presentation by the chief equine vet followed by a buffet lunch and introduction to my exhibition.
I am delighted to say that we raised vital funds for World Horse Welfare at this event and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Our thanks to everyone who attended and special thanks to David Quest, Pupil Assistant Trainer, for an enjoyable and educational tour of Manor House Stables.
